We wanted to do something fun for Tagg's birthday, so on Saturday we took him to Funtasticks. We rode some rides and played some arcades and had a great time.
The spraying bumper boats were the best! (Too bad James didn't know how to take the camera off black/white mode).
It works out great when your birthday is on a Sunday, because you get to party all weekend! Today we opened presents and went to church. Tagg chose buttered noodles and garlic bread for dinner and brownies and ice cream for dessert.
I haven't been sad at all about my Taggy turning four- it seems like he's been ready to be four for so long. But last night at bedtime, James told him it was the last night he would be three and that tomorrow he would be four. Even though he has been so excited about it, he started sobbing. He said he just really liked being three and didn't want to be four. It definitely tugged my heart strings and my eyes got teary too. This last year has been so wonderful and having a three year old is seriously the best! I consoled us both by talking about all the neat things this next year will bring and how awesome it is to be 4. Today, there was no looking back- he was so happy and excited all day. What an awesome kid! Happy Birthday Tagg!
This sweet little one joined in on the party too.

I am sure that James was just being "artsy" with the black and white....tagg sure is one cute 4 year old.
